Description on Bikely: south to pretty farmland + creekside riding then east thru Mechanicsburg + Camp Hill to the wide Susquehenna River and the capital city of Harrisburg (both with worthwhile sights). Description on Bikely: First goes to Camp Hill, then a northerly way thru suburbs and then farmland. Much on quiet roads. Mainly intended to be used to make a loop with the route "Carlisle to Harrisburg southerly scenic" -- search [gvd1e] on Bikely. Description on Bikely: Wonderful farm country + Civil War battle. 59 mile loop (or 35 or 25) southeast of Hagerstown. Mostly quiet roads, some short steep climbs, a mile on a dirt road.
