Nyack start going North on Broadway Waypoint (to visit a quiet dirt/gravel path right alongside the Hudson River, continue straight on Broadway to its end) Left - Castle Heights Av, to its end Right - Midland Av Left - Christian Herald Rd (turn comes just after passing by Old Mountain Rd), climb up to traffic light Right - route 9W North, long climb, then long descent (pass by Rockland Lake State Park, lake is to right side) bear Right (as rt 303 joins rt 9W) (pass by rt 304) Right - Short Clove Rd, cross railroad tracks and down hill (becomes Maple Av) (straight across New Main St) Right - Broad St, to its end Haverstraw Left - Broadway Waypoint Right - Tanneyanns Lane, to its end Right - rt 108 - soon curves left, becomes Grassy Point Rd (view south on the Hudson river) (nice view at beach park, east across Hudson river to Verplanck Point + Georges Island park) Right - Beach Rd / rt 110 Left - Tomkins Rd / rt 110 (under railroad) Stony Point Right - Farley Dr, to its end Waypoint Left - Jackson Dr, to its end bear Left - join Georgian Dr, to its end Right - Park Rd (Variation: to visit Stony Point lighthouse, continue straight) Left - Park Rd, up steep hill to its end Right - route 9W North Tomkins Cove (Variation: to avoid riding on dirt/gravel possibly eroded, continue straight on route 9W North, but that requires handling a long climbing section with high-speed traffic and no or little shoulder) Right - Bicycle Route 9, starts paved, turns to dirt/gravel - continue to its end Right - route 9W North (to visit the marsh of Iona Island, turn right here) (to visit Bear Mountain State Park, with possible food option, turn Left and climb hill) Bear Mountain Fort Montgomery careful handling two-lane roundabout / traffic circle. To cross to the east side of the Hudson River, go Right and ride across the Bear Mountain Bridge (rt 6 / rt 202 East).
