To visit a sandy beach on the Hudson River: Go East on the road that parallels Rondout Creek. Becomes E Strand St, turns L and becomes North St. Turn R on Delaware Ave and go East to the beach. Return the same way. (need skills for tricky crossings of railroad tracks on Strand St) Adds about 3Mi to route. (but Variation Q is prettier) | ||
