to avoid dirt path, but encounter high-speed motor traffic (and a bigger hill-climb): continue Straight on Rt 9W South. But most of this section of Rt 9W has bad shoulders or no shoulders, and there's at least one curve with questionable visibility. On the other hand there is a second uphill traffic lane thru most of the climbing, and the traffic lanes are fairly wide. [as of July 2007] | ||
