Systems Analysis and Design -- With management and those who use or will
use the proposed system:
Eliciting participation by (potential) users
and management, in group and individual sessions, including other
advisors (technology, regulatory, legal, audit) -- and getting to the
details.
Reconciling differences, prioritizing needs, creating a meaningful whole,
and estimating required resources.
Systems analysis requires the application of a keen mind to the project,
determining the necessary component details of the project, and melding
those details into a coherent whole.
Systems design requires the translation of detailed analysis into a
coherent design. Technical questions must be recognized and addressed
in order to create a good design.
