Bicycling in France -- Ken Roberts : October 2002

Mont Ventoux stands alone in the middle of southern France, near Avignon.  The road over its summit runs east-west between Sault and Malaucene, and it connects with a side-loop through Bedoin.  It is often included in the famous Tour de France race.
