Looking down to the main road between Col des Montets and Col de la Forclaz, near Chatelard near the France - Switzerland frontier

rock on left is les Drus, sunny snow slopes to right are Mont Blanc du Tacul + Mont Maudit. Behind in center in the sun is the upper section of the Mer de Glace glacier, and rocky peaks along the France - Italy frontier.

Mont Blanc in center confused with clouds (highest summit in Europe). Snow dome to right is the Dome du Gouter. Rock peaks to left are the Aiguilles de Chamonix. Points between the Aiguilles and Mont Blanc summit include Mont Blanc du Tacul, Aiguille du Midi, Mont Maudit.
