Nice ski peak from the Disentis
lifts. Conditions were good, so Gi and I made it into a
three-day tour of the Glarner Alps, continuing from the
Oberalpstock to the Planura hut, then skiing the Schärhorn,
Clariden, and Tödi -

report ]

Ken on the south slope
of Piz Ault, above the top ski-lift of Disentis, heading for a
crossing the east ridge - (though actually Gi did most of the
trail-breaking)

looking east to Tödi (3614m), where we'll be skiing in
two days -- our ascent route in blue, our descent route in green

We continued east on this gentle snowfield
toward the Chamanna da Cavardiras hut, on down into Val Russein,
then turn
north, then east, and finally
this day to the Planura hut
